We understand that your wedding day will be one of the most important days of your lives. That’s why everything we do is aimed at ensuring we capture images that you will be proud to look at for years to come.

For us, there is more to photographing a wedding than just taking beautiful images. Once you begin working with us, we will help you come up with a plan that will ensure the day runs smoothly so you can truly enjoy it to the fullest.

Your wedding day is a story. We want to capture that story. We are with you from the start of your day until the end and having two photographers allows us to capture so many of the fantastic moments from your special day.

Pre-wedding consultation

We love getting to sit down with our clients to discuss their plans for their big day. It gives you a chance to find out what we are about and allows us to pass along some of those little things that we’ve learned from doing so many weddings. We can provide timeline advice, location thoughts, and answer questions you might have about how to ensure your day runs as smoothly as possible.

Two photographers up to 12 hours

When you book dbphotographics as your wedding photographers you are not getting one professional photographer and an assistant, you are getting two professional photographers. This means you are getting double the expertise working for you on your wedding day.

While it indicates up to 12 hours, you can rest assured knowing that we will be there until the last event you need us for at the Reception. 

Photography of both partner's preparations

Our day starts when yours does. One of us will spend the first part of the day with one partner as they get ready for the Ceremony and the other will be with the other partner. The time spent with your Wedding Party at the start of the day is always very special and we love capturing moments from this time. It allows each of you to see what the other one was doing leading up to your Ceremony.

Photography of the Ceremony, Formals and Reception

Basically anything that you would like photographed on your wedding day is what we will do for you. The Formal photo portion of the day is probably our favourite part. We love the challenge of continually finding new ways to showcase how fantastic you and your Wedding party looks on the day. If you have specific ideas of where you want photos taken, that is great, but we will be more than happy to find locations that fit in with your tastes and style.

Travel to location within 50 km of Edmonton

We are located in Edmonton but we certainly love travelling to other locations for weddings. If your wedding is outside of our home base we typically only ask for a minimal honorarium to cover fuel and expenses away from home. If an overnight stay is required, accommodations would be added to that honorarium.

Post-shoot photographic editing

dbphotographics personally edits all of your photographs. We review each and every image taken on your wedding day to find you the very best ones and then edit each individual image with care and artistic attention.

Selected images in high resolution on DVD (Non-watermarked)

Once we have finished the editing process, the final images are then transferred onto DVD for you. These fully-edited images are the absolute highest quality and are suitable for printing in any size you wish! There are no watermarks on these images – they are your images and do not carry our logo in any way.

A question we get asked often is “how many photos will I get?” and the answer is “all of the great ones”. We do not hold any back. If we captured an image that we feel looks worthy enough to share, you will get that image. As a result, most couples end up with anywhere between 400 and 700 images.

13”x11” Hardcover Photo Album – (1)

Designing your wedding album is something we take very seriously. Our goal is to produce a book that could be viewed by someone who was not able to attend your wedding and after viewing will feel like they were they to experience it. Throughout the day we ensure we capture the images that will make your book a full story.

The final product is a hardcover 13”x11” book that will look beautiful on your coffee table or tucked away in your bookcase.

10”x8” Parents Album – (2)

Once the large album is designed, a slightly smaller softcover version of the album is created. It is a virtual duplicate of the large one. Each couple receives 2 copies of this book.

2 Hour Engagement Session

An engagement session is a fantastic way for the couple to get to see us work and for us to find out more about the couple. It is also a great opportunity to take photos in locations that might not be possible on the wedding day. For these reasons, we made the decision to include an engagement session with every wedding. 

Full printing authorization for all final images

There is absolutely no requirement to order your prints from us. There is no extra charge for printing rights. Once you receive the final DVD, you are fully authorized to print as many or as few as you wish.
